Expedia.com’s exclusive 2010 Insiders’ Select has once again ranked Pelican Bay at Lucaya as one of the best hotels in the world for quality and value with a score of 99.30. Last year’s score was 86.03. Pelican Bay is number one of five Bahamas hotels making the list and is ranked 9th in the Caribbean. This year marks the fourth year that Pelican Bay has made the Expedia Insiders’ Select list.

En enig dommerkomité udpegede projektet som vinder, bl.a. med følgende bemærkninger: ”Flot og fyldestgørende projekt, godt materialevalg og fint omfang. Et robust byggeri med flot arkitektur med bygningsstørrelser i byens skala.” Projektet er udarbejdet i samarbejde med Jorton, Pluskontoret, Møller & Grønborg og MidtConsult. Multihuset er en integreret institution, fritidsklub og multihal samlet i én bygning, der er energiproducerende.
